Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") sets out the rules for what you may and may not publish using needs-to-stay. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to follow this Policy. Because pages frequently describe and quote real people, these rules matter — please read them carefully.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not create, publish, store or transmit any content, or use the Service in any way, that:

3. Consent and lawful basis for information about people

A page about keeping someone in their role will normally include personal data about real individuals. Before you publish, you must satisfy yourself that you have a lawful basis to use that information and, where it is required, the consent of the people named, quoted or described. You are responsible for the accuracy and fairness of what you say about them. If you are in any doubt, do not publish that information.

4. Company branding

If you ask the Service to brand a page using a company's website colours or logo, you must have the right to reference that branding. All brand names, trade marks and logos displayed on a page are the property of their respective owners. The existence of a page, and the appearance of any company's branding on it, does not imply that the named company endorses, sponsors, is affiliated with, or has approved the page or its content. We claim no such affiliation or endorsement.

5. Our rights

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove any content, take a page offline, or suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe it breaches this Policy, is unlawful, or exposes us or any third party to liability, or if we are required to act by law or by a valid request from a competent authority or a rightsholder. Where we act because of a breach, no refund is due for any unused publication window (see our Refund Policy).

6. Reporting a violation

If you believe a page breaches this Policy — for example, it defames you, publishes your personal data without a lawful basis, infringes your rights, or names you or your company without authorisation — please report it to mark@cracksoft.dev. Tell us the page subdomain, what the problem is, and (if relevant) why you have the standing to complain. We will review reports promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or taking the page offline.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, is always published here.
